EAST GARDEN CITY- On Aug. 22 at 8 p.m. at the Zumiez store at 630 Old Country Road, Dylan Rampersaud, 18, and Brian Guzman, 18, both Inwood, were arrested for shoplifting, police said.

Grand larceny- motor vehicle

HEWLETT- On Aug. 27 at 2:07 p.m. at the Hewlett-Woodmere Public Library at 1125 Broadway, A 2011 gray Hyundai Sonata was stolen, according to police.

Larceny- from auto

INWOOD- On Davis Ave. between 7 p.m. on Aug. 22 and 9 a.m. on Aug. 23, a man reported that glass from his vehicle’s passenger side view mirror was broken, authorities said.

Petit larceny

ATLANTIC BEACH- At the Inwood Beach Club on Ocean Blvd. on Aug. 21 at 4:20 p.m., two bicycles were stolen from the rack, according to officials.

LAWRENCE- Between 11 p.m. on Aug. 20 and 9 a.m. on Aug.21 on Doughty Blvd., a bicycle was stolen from a man’s front yard, officials said.

INWOOD- Between 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. on Aug. 22 on Golfwood Court, a green bicycle was stolen from a man’s open garage, police said.

Criminal mischief to auto

LAWRENCE- On Johnson Rd., between 6 p.m. on Aug. 22 and 11 a.m. on Aug. 23, a man reported that someone spray painted “Boycott Israel” on the side of his trailer, officials said.

HEWLETT- Between 9 p.m. on Aug. 25 and 4 a.m. on Aug 26, on Kent Drive, a woman reported damage to all four tire valves on her vehicle while it was parked, according to police.
