Arrests

LAWRENCE-On March 16 at 11 a.m. a home improvement warehouse store on Rockaway Boulevard, Jose Bereos Rivera, 34, of Inwood, was arrested for shoplifting, authorities said.

Grand larceny

HEWLETT-At 11:30 a.m. on March 13 at a physical fitness center in Hewlett Plaza, a woman’s wallet and its contents were stolen from a locker, officials said.

Larceny from auto

INWOOD-Between March 12 at 10:11 p.m. and 10:40 a.m. on March 13 on Donahue Avenue, a man’s car was ransacked and his white iPhone 5C was stolen, according to police.

INWOOD-Between 8:15 p.m. on March 12 and 11:55 a.m. on March 13 on Soloff Boulevard, a woman’s car was ransacked, police said.

HEWLETT- On March 14 between 12:45 and 7 a.m. on Hamilton Avenue, a man’s car was ransacked, and a lug nut key and money were stolen, authorities said.

INWOOD- At 12:01 a.m. on Doughty Boulevard on March 15, at the Town of Hempstead Parking Field II, a man reported that the rear window of his car was smashed and his spare tire stolen, officials said.
