Larceny from auto

INWOOD-On April 6 at 2 a.m. on Bayview Avenue, a car owner reported that they witnessed someone going through their vehicle. No damage was done and nothing was taken, authorities said.

CEDARHURST-Between 3 p.m. on April 7 and 12:30 a.m. on April 8 on Marlborough Road, a woman’s car was ransacked, and eyeglasses and coins were stolen from inside, officials said.

Criminal mischief

INWOOD-At 12:45 a.m. on April 2 on Sheridan Boulevard, BB pellets were shot through a window, according to police.

Criminal mischief to auto

INWOOD-Between April 1 at 6 p.m. and April 2 at 11:30 a.m. on Wahl Avenue, a woman’s car was ransacked, police said.

HEWLETT-Between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. at a professional office on Rockaway Avenue, a man’s car was scratched with a key, authorities said.
