Heffron Drive
Actor/singer-songwriter Kendall Schmidt stops in Rockville Centre with his electro-pop band Heffron Drive, as the band celebrates the Sept. 9 release of their debut album “Happy Mistakes.” Schmidt, who shot to fame during his run on Nickelodeon’s hit show “Big Time Rush,” amassing impressive Internet buzz, has embarked on his second international tour. Infusing infectious melodies with vibrant lyrics, Heffron Drive has evolved from a passion project in a bedroom studio to a full-fledged endeavor, with dedicated fans across the globe. With money earned from his acting gig, Schmidt began this musical journey with vocalist and guitarist Dustin Belt, naming their band after street in Burbank, California where they both lived. Ariana & The Rose also appear as special guests.
Saturday, Sept. 6, 8 p.m. $35, $100 with pre-show meet and greet. Madison Theatre, Molloy College, 1000 Hempstead Ave., Rockville Centre. (516) 323-4444 or
