Inwood man arrested for Lawrence burglary

After noticing a the shattered door of a Lawrence business and seeing a man leaving the building, a Nassau police sergeant arrested Timothy McCullough.

McCullough, 46, of St. George Place, in Inwood, entered through the front door of Ojay’s Auto Body at 259 Burnside Ave. in Lawrence at 11:45 p.m. on April 6, according to police.

He rifled through several drawers and took multiple envelopes, police said.

McCullough was charged with burglary-third degree.
