Assorted jewelry, including seven Seiko watches were stolen from a Wanser Avenue home in Inwood between Sept. 13 and 19, when the 82-year-old resident was on vacation, according to police.
The man found that the portable air conditioning unit that was originally in the bedroom window had been removed and was inside his house on a couch. The total value of what was taken has yet to be determined, police said.
