Overcast LWA’s homecoming was a ball of fall fun

For five hours the campus of Lawrence Woodmere Academy on Woodmere Boulevard in Woodmere was transformed into an autumn fun-land as the school held its annual Homecoming on Oct. 19.
Carnival rides, class booths, a pumpkin patch and a variety of food were the attractions. The boys’ soccer team played Portledge to a 1-1 draw, but the LWA girls lost 4-1 to their Portledge counterparts.
