Looking for Woodmere burglar

Nassau County police and Crime Stoppers are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man who is thought to have allegedly committed a burglary in Woodmere on June 15.
Police said that the person attempted to gain access to the mail slot adjacent to the front door of a house on Church Avenue on that Monday at 3:18 p.m. Unsuccessful, the man returned to the same home at 3:55 p.m. and got into the house through the front door, police said. He allegedly stole an undetermined number of items and cash.
If anyone has information about this incident they should call 1-(800) 244-8477. All calls are kept confidential. There is up to a $5,000 reward for information that leads to an arrest.
