At the 11th annual Five Town Indian Association Children’s Day celebration, 42 kids, ages five to 17, performed various dances and skits for an audience of 200 at the Hewlett-Woodmere Public Library on April 14.

The program, which sought to promote Indian culture, began with the American national anthem, followed by the Indian national anthem and included two hours of performances with refreshments served afterwards.
