Public’s help sought in Atlantic Beach identity theft

Four bank withdrawls totaled over $21,000

Nassau County police are asking the public to help in identifying a man wanted for identity theft that allegedly occurred in Atlantic Beach between 5 a.m. and 5 p.m. on April 28, when four withdrawals from several Capital One Banks in excess of $21,000 were made using the personal information of a Scott Drive resident, police said.
Crime Stoppers is requesting that anyone who can identify the man in the photo or has any information about this call the toll free hotline 1-800-244-8477. All calls are kept confidential. There is up to a $5,000 reward for information that leads to an arrest.
