The crescendo of Spirit Week at Hewlett High School hit its high note as freshmen, sophomores, juniors and seniors took part in the annual Sports Night competition on March 3, which is coordinated by the Student Council.
With 110 points, the seniors won the event which includes volleyball, floor hockey and basketball games as well as a dance competition, an under-over relay, an academic bowl and a best T-shirt contest.
The freshmen won the T-Shirt competition. The seniors finished first in banners, dance and in the academic bowl. The juniors place second with 72 points, sophomores were third with 66 and the freshmen tallied 60.
