Teen girl robbed on Central Avenue in Cedarhurst

Police say that a 15-year-old girl was robbed by two men on Feb. 25 near 430 Central Ave. in Cedarhurst.

A 15-year-old girl walking in the area of 430 Central Ave. in Cedarhurst on Feb. 25 at 6:45 p.m. and was attacked by two men who had been hidden in an alley, police said.

One of the men grabbed the young woman’s handbag and the other punched her in the face near one of her eyes, according to police.

After taking cash, gift cards and an iPhone from the teen’s bag, the men fled the scene.

The men were wearing dark colored clothing with hoodies, police said. The girl declined medical attention for her injured eye.
