Two men sought for Inwood assault

Nassau County police and Crime Stoppers are seeking the public’s help in identifying two men who allegedly assaulted another man in a mini-mart on Bayview Avenue in Inwood at 11:50 p.m. on Aug. 7.
In the store, the pair both attacked the man with a piece of broken concrete and hit him on the head and face, which caused several facial cuts, police said. They fled and the man was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
Anyone who can identify the men or has information about this incident should call 1-800-244-8477. All calls are kept confidential. There is up to a $5,000 reward for information that leads to an arrest.
