SIBSPlace in Hewlett held an Encore Prom event for five graduating high school students, who are participants in the program, to show off their prom dresses.

After sharing iPhone photos throughout the spring of their dresses, five young women Kristina Grupe, Victoria Benoit, Madison Ventrice, Gabrielle Cohen and Sachelle Jonas, who graduated high school this year, showed off their prom apparel at SIBSPlace in Hewlett’s Encore Prom on June 27.
All five girls are participants in SIBSPlace, a free program of South Nassau Communities Hospital in Oceanside, that serves children ages 5-17 living with a sibling or parent who has cancer or another serious or devastating illness. SIBSPlace provides support in handling the problems that arise related to the illness, and activities such as homework assistance and community meals.
