Woodmere resident joins mediation form

Howard M. Adelsberg, a Woodmere resident who has a law practice in Cedarhurst and is an arbitrator/mediator for U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York and the New York State Supreme Courts for Nassau and Queens counties and for the Nassau County Bar Association, has joined Century Mediation Associates in Garden City and Melville as an arbitrator/mediator.

Adelsberg is a former administrative law judge for New York City. He has taught law as an adjunct professor at Baruch College and New York Career Institute. He is a member of the New York State Bar Association, National Jewish Commission on Law and Public Affairs, Jewish Lawyer’s Guild, Nassau and Queens counties bar associations, and New York State Trial Lawyer’s Association. Adelsberg also presents lectures at continuing legal education programs.

His areas of expertise include business, commercial litigation, elder law and guardianships, estate matters, family law, personal injury and real estate. He was admitted to practice law in Connecticut in 1985 and New York one year later. He is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Eastern districts of New York, and District of Connecticut. Adelsberg attended Quinnipiac College School of Law (formerly known as the University of Bridgeport School of Law), where he received his law degree in 1985.
