Inwood resident and Far Rockaway man arrested for Inwood robberies

Nassau County detectives arrested an Inwood resident and a Far Rockaway man for three robberies in Inwood last month.

Yonathan Arreaga, 18, of Mott Avenue, and Kevin Moran, 16, of Beach 25th Street, are alleged to have taken a purse from a woman in a parking lot across from 107 Doughty Blvd. at 1:30 p.m. on Dec. 9; stole an unspecified amount of money from a person on Grand Central Place at 10:05 a.m. on Dec. 10 and two hours later on the same street tried to rob another person, but no proceeds were taken, police said.

Arreaga and Moran were both charged with robbery first-degree, two counts of robbery second-degree and attempted robbery second-degree.
