Florida-bound with plenty of supplies for Hurricane Irma victims

After the New York District Kiwanis tractor trailer returns from Texas and dropping off supplies for victims of Hurricane Harvey, it head to Florida and bring provisions to the victims of Hurricane Irma.

Peninsula Kiwanis is still collecting items. Bring donations to, PIP Printing, 421 Doughty Blvd., Inwood, Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. The phone number is (516) 239-9500.

Suggested items are: paper goods, school supplies, nonperishable foods, pet food, flashlights, batteries, cleaning supplies and blankets. No clothes or shoes. Gift cards, bank gift cards or from major stores such as Walmart, Target and Home Depot are appreciated.
