Mostly Cloudy Hewlett man arrested for two Mineola fires

Police arrested Glenn Annesley for allegedly setting two fires in Mineola last year.

Two fires that were set last year in Mineola have been connected to a Hewlett resident, according to police.
Glenn Annesley, 55, of Quail Avenue, was arrested on June 14 after what police called an “extensive investigation.”
Annesley is alleged to have set a dumpster on fire in the back lot of 80 Herricks Road on July 8, and 23 days set a clothing bin ablaze in the rear lot of 100 Herricks Road.
He is charged with two counts of arson fifth-degree. He was scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Hempstead on June 22.
