New job for Hewlett resident

Jessica Goldberg, from Hewlett, was hired by the Reisman Peirez Reisman & Capobianco law firm in Garden City as an associate lawyer. Previously, Goldberg was an intern at Goldberg & Pines in upstate Harrison.

She graduated from St. John’s University School of Law where she was the recipient of the St. Thomas More Scholarship. At St. John’s, Goldberg served as the president of the Education Law Society and the vice president of the Environmental Law Society in the 2015-16 academic year.

During the 2014-15 academic year, she served as the school’s representative for the Nassau County Bar Association’s Theodore Roosevelt American Inn of Court.

While attending law school, Goldberg was a legal intern for the law school’s Child Advocacy Clinic, the Sewanhaka Central School District, Goldberg & Pines L.L.P. and Napoli Bern Ripka Shkolnik L.L.P.

She graduated magna cum laude from Hofstra University with a bachelor’s degree in political science and philosophy.
