Students graduate from Fairleigh Dickinson University

North Woodmere resident serves as president

Among the more than students who received degrees from Fairleigh Dickinson University at the New Jersey school’s graduation on May 16 were eight residents of the Five Towns. All attended FDU’s Metropolitan Campus.

Cheryl Golding, of Cedarhurst, earned a master’s in school psychology. Paul Gross and Moshe Golombeck, both from Lawrence, received bachelor degrees in individualized studies.

Joseph Gorbacz, Brian Hammer, Leon Mazel, Joshua Schonfeld and Andrew Stein, all of Woodmere, also earned bachelor degrees in individualized studies.

Student Forum president

North Woodmere resident, Jasmine Nakkab, class of 2018, is serving as the Union College Student Forum president.
