Fair Celebrating 50 years of Peninsula Kiwanis

Peninsula Kiwanis marked a half century of helping those in need, especially the youngest Town of Hempstead neighbors, in 2018. The organization works with youth groups, houses of worship support and Camp ANCHOR, a town-supported program that aids children and adults with special needs.
Councilmen Bruce Blakeman and Anthony D’Esposito presented the group with a replica of the sign that will be installed at the Hewlett Veterans Memorial Triangle commemorating their work over the last five decades at the 50th anniversary party in Long Beach last month.
