‘Antony and Cleopatra’ reign at Hofstra
Hofstra’s Production of Antony and Cleopatra stars senior Max Baudisch as Antony and junior Cassandra DeMarco as Cleopatra.
“It’s a great learning experience for our students, who not only act but also set up the production, and for the high school students to see a live play,” said Dr. Kolb. “It gives Hofstra students the valuable experience of
taking a show on the road and managing it logistically and artistically.”
For Dr. Kolb, who has been directing Shakespeare Festival productions since 1992, the festival remains a vital part of Hofstra’s identity. “The festival is so much more than one play. It is an all encompassing thing that has contributed to the success of Hofstra’s theater program.” And an opportunity for the community to see future stars in the making.
