Seventh- and eighth-graders honored at Carey

The administration at H. Frank Carey High School recently honored seventh- and eighth-grade students for their hard work and dedication during an assembly, which was attended by their families and fellow classmates.

At the ceremony, 88 seventh-grade students received Outstanding Achievement Awards and 84 students were recognized for Best Effort in various subject areas. Meanwhile in eighth-grade, 87 students received Outstanding Achievement Awards and 82 students were given Best Effort. Principal’s Participation Awards were also given to students who maintained good academic standing, while participating in two or more clubs, activities or sports. These awards were given out to 122 seventh-graders and 65 eighth-graders.
