Three burglars invade Elmont home

According to Det. Kelly of the Fifth Precinct, on Dec. 1 at 1:40 a.m., three men, one armed with a knife, entered a residence on Frick Street in Elmont.

The burglars removed bars and a screen from a basement window then proceeded to the bedroom and confronted the victims, a 69-year-old man and 70-year-old woman.  

Two of the men held the victims as the third ransacked the room and demanded money.  After removing an undisclosed amount of money the subjects fled the scene in an unknown direction.  There were no reported injuries.

All subjects are described as black men, one with braided hair, with no further description available.
