On June 18, at the corner of Dogwood and Cornwell avenues, Town of Hempstead Councilman Bruce A. Blakeman, center, displayed one of several “Welcome To Franklin Square” signs recently installed by the town at the request of the Franklin Square Chamber of Commerce. With Blakeman were, from left, Chamber Treasurer Elaine Russo, Executive Secretary Larry Prendergast, TOH Supervisor of Traffic Control Gary Aue, Chamber Co-President Bruno Caracciolo, 2nd Vice President Lisa DelliPizzi, Board Member Angela Romano, 4th Vice President Bill Youngfert and Secretary Joe McDonald.
