Students, faculty and community members celebrated H. Frank Carey High School’s Homecoming on Oct. 19.

The day began with the Carey’s Dads’ Club providing a delicious, free breakfast to students and community members, and continued with the annual parade, which featured floats and banners based on the board game theme. Once the parade was over, the homecoming court was recognized, and Gary Faraone was announced as the king and Lauren Gunn was announced as the queen. The school also honored senior football team players and their families.

The Seahawks felt the community spirit and shut-out Elmont with a score of 34-0. The action-packed game was highlighted by a halftime show, with the marching band, Pirettes, junior varsity and varsity cheerleaders performing.
