Curious George
The inquisitive lovable little monkey, star of Margaret and H.A. Rey’s beloved books and the award-winning PBS television show, comes alive on stage in Theatreworks USA’s charming new musical. Join George on a fun-filled adventure as he helps his friend Chef Pisghetti enter his famous meatballs in the world-famous Golden Meatball Contest in Rome. It all starts with All-You-Can-Eat Meatball Day, George’s favorite day, when he helps his friend cook some delicious meatballs and serve them to the excited crowd. But this year the crowd has vanished and chef vows to cook no more. George goes on a mission to help his friend. With every swing and flip, he learns more about Rome — and meatballs — and the “secret ingredient” to cooking than he’d ever imagined.

Nature Walk
Hike Muttontown Preserve from “End to End” on a guided walk through some the nature preserve’s 550 acres of fields, woodlands, ponds and estate grounds. The vigorous five to six mile hike in the lower portion of the preserve includes trails not often visited by the public. The hike goes through areas with ponds, fresh-water marshland and open fields, and past the grounds around Nassau Hall. Look for varieties of birds that make their home there.
