Community concert in Freeport

In its sixty-sixth season, the Freeport Community Concert Association is pleased to present the Beowulf Consort on Saturday, December 14 at 8 p.m.

Beowulf is a classical group that will present a colorful program with music from the early Renaissance to the present. Titled “From Europe to America,” the musical journey will start with music from Denmark, continuing, through various European countries, before finally reaching America with beloved selections from the Great American Songbook and African-American spirituals.

Individual tickets may be purchased for $20 at the door on the night of the concert, which is performed at Freeport High School, 50 South Brookside Avenue in Freeport, just south of Sunrise Highway.
