NY Rising extends elevation deadline

For those Sandy victims that are working with New York Rising and trying to get their elevation plans submitted by June 12, take heart, the program has extended the deadline. You are now required to have your preconstruction elevation certificate in by September 30. All other elevation design documents, stamped plans and permits, or permit applications, and the 61200 form for those who chose to augment the elevation scope of work must be submitted by December 31. These new deadlines apply to those who opted to elevate their homes prior to June 1. If you need information you can contact NY Rising at (855) 697-7263.
