Fun at the D’Amato Family spray park

Supervisor Kate Murray joined former United States Senator Alfonse D’Amato at dedication of Island Park’s new water spray park last month. The park was dedicated in memory of the senator’s late parents, Antoinette and Armand D’Amato. The D’Amatos were longtime village residents. Senator D’Amato helped with the Antoinette and Armand D’Amato Family Foundation’s donation of the spray park to the Village of Island Park. Supervisor Murray commented, “I’m sure Mr. and Mrs. D’Amato would have been be proud of this beautiful new spray park which will bring hours of refreshing enjoyment to local youngsters and their families.”
