Island Park Students of the Month

Island Park’s students of the month were announced at the school district’s Dec. 19 school board meeting. They are Alex Michaels, kindergarten, Kayla Fonseca, first grade, Matilda Zarcone, second grade, Ava Acovino, third grade, Coby Spiteri fourth grade, Emily Feil, fifth grade, Dylan Cantwell, sixth grade, Adam Santa Maria, seventh grade, and Benjamin Upbin, eighth grade. Congratulations additionally went to kindergartner Luca Ragan, who was unable to attend the October meeting at the time when his Student of the Month distinction was first announced.
