Hempstead Town Councilman Anthony D’Esposito swore n Jimmy Sarro as the Island Park Fire Department’s 77th Chief. Also sworn in by Island Park Mayor Michael McGinty; Deputy Chiefs James Miotto, Mike Whalen and Frank Eye.
Honorable Chief Steve D’Esposito was given a lifetime achievement award for supporting the Fire Department during the 25 years he was an I.P. Village official.
