South Point Plaza, a nursing and rehab center at 1 Long Beach Road in Island Park, reopened their first floor on July 24 after damage from Hurricane Sandy. To celebrate, they held a gala with a raffle, food, a strolling table and a living statue. About 140 people, mostly staff from area hospitals, came to the party.
