With so much to learn and explore, students in Barbara Ried’s kindergarten class at Francis X. Hegarty School in Island Park have a full school day — and story time offers a welcome break from their hectic schedule. After completing their independent assignments each morning, Mrs. Ried brings the class together for story time, reading a different book each day to instill a desire to read and learn.
