Island Park Library Movie
Sept. 16 at 1:30 p.m. Love & Friendship, Lady Susan Vernon takes up residence at her in-laws’ estate and acts as a matchmaker for their daughter.  Rated PG, 92 minutes.

Oceanside Library Movie

Sept. 16, 7 p.m. The Jungle Book A remake of the Disney classic about a man-cub surviving in the jungle with the help of his animal friends.  (2016) PG 106 min. We are pleased to offer this movie under “Sensory Friendly” conditions, as a special opportunity for families to enjoy a film in a safe and accepting environment. We’ll keep the lights slightly up and the sound turned slightly down. Come relax and enjoy family time without worrying if someone will complain or be disturbed by noise or movement. (A caregiver must remain in the room at all times.)

A tale as old as time
Step into the enchanted world of Belle and her Beast when Plaza Theatrical Productions stages Disney’s “Beauty and the Beast Jr.,” at Long Island Children’s Museum in Garden City, Follow along with Belle’s adventures as she meets the mysterious beast and finds true love.
