Island Park's 2018 Summer Concert Series at Masone Beach
Superbad was super great according to the crowd at Masone Beach. Guitarist Ray Schneller, left, drummer Joseph Casey, vocalist Brian Andersen, guitarist Dave Stein and bassist Joe Higgins performed a variety of rock classics for some beach-side fun.
Hundreds of people traveled down to Masone Beach in Island Park for the Superbad concert, which is part of Island Park's summer concert series.
Theres no age limit for great music and dancing. Ninety-one year old Ulina Colasante broke out her dancing shoes at the Superbad concert and rocked out to some Stones with "Honkeytonk Woman"
While Superbad perfomed "I Wanna Be Sedated" by The Ramones, Pamela Griffin, Christine Savino and Juliana Savino danced on the sand. It's one of Christine's favorite songs, she said.
Responding to chants of “one more song” Superbad asked Mayor Michael McGinty for the go-ahead to continue playing. It was a request he happily obliged.
