Detectives say Xanax sale occurred last summer

Nassau County police arrested a Long Beach man on drug charges Tuesday relating to the criminal sale of a controlled substance that occurred in Long Beach last August.

According to detectives, Kraig Reilly, 18, of Long Beach, sold an unspecified quantity of Xanax to another for an agreed upon amount of money. Long Beach detectives located the defendant on Tuesday, June 9, on Arizona Avenue in Long Beach, where he was placed under arrest.

Reilly is being charged with two counts of fifth-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance and two counts of fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and will be arraigned on June 10 at First District Court in Hempstead.
