L.B. woman charged with prostitution


Nassau County police arrested a Long Beach woman on Saturday after she allegedly offered sex to an undercover officer.

According to police, the incident occurred in an area parking lot in Long Beach on Saturday, June 22, at 5 p.m. when 21-year-old Dejanae Williams allegedly offered to perform a sexual act on an undercover detective from the Narcotics Vice Bureau for an undisclosed amount of money.

Williams was placed under arrest without incident and charged with prostitution. She was released on a desk appearance ticket returnable to First District Court in Hempstead on July 5.
