Trustee Dennis Ryan reminded parents that the board also represents people in the district who feel increasing school taxes are causing a burden on their finances.
“It’s incumbent on us to look at space in buildings,” Ryan said. “People are being priced out of Long Beach. We have to be mindful of them. Often times, parents don’t look at overall good, just at what’s good for them.”
