Summer Concert Series continues

July 21: Bonjourney, a Bon Jovi & Journey tribute band, on Neptune Boulevard beach at 8 p.m.

July 25: Cold Spring Harbor, a Billy Joel tribute band, on National Boulevard beach at 8 p.m.

July 26: Chiclettes, a girl group tribute band, on National Boulevard beach at 8 p.m.

July 27: Tbazco Road, a rockin' zydeco, boogie and blues band, on New York Avenue Beach at 8 pm.

July 28: Sixgun Country, unique “hard driving” country music, on Neptune Boulevard beach at 8 p.m.

Turnpike Joe & The Traffic Jam

Turnpike Joe & The Traffic Jam, now in its 39th year entertaining Long Island, will bring its signature sound and tight interpretations of rock and pop tunes of the 1960s and 70s to the Long Beach Public Library on Saturday, July 23 at 2 p.m. The band welcomes special guest Kim Longo on saxophone, flute, clarinet, piccolo; Turnpike Joe, lead/rhythm guitar, vocals; Joanne J-Bird Phillips, bass, percussion, vocals; Ira Kaye, bass, percussion, vocals; Jay Sharkey, drums, vocals.

Beach Movie Night

Beachgoers can see “Jaws” on Saturday, July 23, at Neptune Boulevard beach at 8 p.m. The West End Neighbors Civic Association, Westholme Civic Association, North East Bay and Canals Civic Association, and Eastholme Civic Association are hosting Movie Nights on the Beach events this year. All events will take place on Saturdays through Sept. 17 (except Sept. 10).
