Leaving the scene
On Oct. 13 at 2:43 p.m., a motorist reported that a vehicle struck her car and left the scene while she was driving on S. Long Beach Road.
Larceny
On Oct. 13 at 1:12 p.m., a homeowner on Lee Avenue reported that a package was stolen from his doorstep.
On Oct. 14 at 4:30 p.m., a victim reported that an unknown woman stole assorted clothing from Stop and Shop on Atlantic Avenue in Oceanside.

Criminal mischief
On Oct. 13 at 3:46 p.m., the manager of a restaurant on S. Village Avenue reported the front store window was broken.
Arrests
On Oct. 8 at 3:17 p.m., a 21-year-old Freeport man was arrested and charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance during an investigation on N. Long Beach Road.
On Oct. 12 at 1:32 a.m., a 57-year-old man from Jamaica, Queens, was arrested and charged with third-degree burglary after he was observed breaking a front window and entering a store on Sunrise Highway.
On Oct. 13 at 12:37 a.m., a 21-year-old Rockville Centre man was arrested and charged with second-degree menacing and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon during an investigation on Meehan Lane.
