3D name printing at the library

Children in third-grade and older can print their name using the 3D printer at the Henry Waldinger Memorial Library on Feb. 17 at 2 p.m. Registration is required with preference given to Valley Stream library cardholders. For more information, call (516) 825 – 6422.

Meet George Washington and Abraham Lincoln

The Valley Stream Historical Society will dress up in colonial costumes and tell guests facts about some of the Founding Fathers for President’s Day on Feb. 18 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Pagan-Fletcher Restoration. Guests can even see a piece of George Washington memorabilia. There is no fee to attend, but donations are accepted.

Scholarship fundraiser show in Elmont

The Elmont Memorial Library and the Broadhollow Theatre Company will be holding their annual scholarship fundraiser at the Elmont Memorial Library on Feb. 20 at 1 p.m. Tickets for “Cinderella” are $6 each and can be purchased at the circulation desk in advance or at the box office the day of the show. All proceeds will go toward awarding scholarship money to local high school students.

Game, set, match

The event marks the return of the ATP World Tour to the New York metropolitan area and Long Island for the first time in 13 years. There’s a ‘Mouse on the Move’

Young audiences can share an adventure with two curious mice who are ready to explore the world beyond their little mouse hole when “Mouse on the Move,” visits the Long Island Children’s Museum stage, during winter recess, Monday through Saturday, Feb. 19-24, also Wednesday, Feb. 28. They decide to go to the moon, since they believe it’s cat free and made of delicious cheese.
