Members of the Long Beach Fire Department rushed to the scene of a minor two-car collision at the intersection of East Pine Street and Long Beach Boulevard on Thursday at around 2 p.m., according to the department’s Facebook.

Each car contained one driver and neither suffered any serious injuries, according to those familiar with the incident.

Both cars suffered minor damages, with one sustaining front bumper damage which caused engine fluids to spill. Firefighters poured an absorbent onto the fluids on the street to soak up the spill.

The firefighters on the scene resumed regular service within 20 minutes after the collision, according to the Facebook post. The Herald will update this story.
