LBFD rushes to the scene of an overturned vehicle

The Long Beach Fire Department responded to a two-car collision at the intersection of East Chester Street and Franklin Boulevard on Thursday at around 12:18 p.m., according to a post on the department’s Facebook page.

Firefighters responding to the scene found one car overturned lying upright on its roof. The driver exited the car before firefighters arrived and sustained minor injuries, according to the post.

The drivers of both cars were taken to South Nassau Communities Hospital for evaluation.
