Nassau County police are investigating two drug store robberies, one of which occurred on Feb. 17 at 2:50 a.m. at the CVS Pharmacy on N. Central Avenue. The suspects also stole drugs from the Walgreen’s Pharmacy on Hempstead Turnpike in Bethpage on Feb. 19 at 2:40 a.m.
According to Nassau County detectives, two male suspects armed with handguns entered the pharmacies and demanded a certain amount of amphetamines, oxycodone, Percocet and cough medicine. No injuries were reported.
The first suspect is described as an almost 6 foot tall male, the other suspect is described as a stocky male. Both were wearing dark colored clothing, including gloves and masks.
