On Jan. 30 at 10:30 p.m., a complainant reported that while checking their Capital One credit card account noticed 98 charges in the amount of $1,1739.50. The complainant called and cancelled the charges and their account with Capital One Bank.

Petit larceny

At 1:42 p.m. on Feb. 2, a complainant reported an unknown person(s) took their Apple iPhone 4S from their backpack while they were playing basketball at Sportime located at 175 Merrick Road, Lynbrook. The value of the phone is $400.

On Feb. 4 at 6:04 p.m., a complainant, the father of a student at Davison Avenue School located at 49 Davison Ave., Lynbrook, reported an unknown person(s) took their child’s Apple iPhone 4S from their locker. The value of the phone is $500.

Criminal mischief

At 12:55 p.m. on Feb. 10, a complainant reported an unknown person(s) damaged the door on their residence on St. Nicholas St., Lynbrook. The value of the damage is $300.

It was reported to police that sometime between midnight and 11 a.m. on Feb. 6, someone damaged a window at the East Rockaway Department of Public Works at 85 Williamson Street by shooting at it with what appeared to be a BB gun.

Grand Larceny

At 11:51 a.m. on Feb. 13, a complainant reports that an unknown person(s) took 4 Infiniti automotive rims and tires from a 2011 Infiniti G37 that had been parked on Whitehall Street. The value of the rims and tires is $4,000.

Identity Theft

At 11:25am on Feb. 15, it was reported that someone charged $1,555.50 dollars to their Citibank Credit Card account.

Aggravated harassment

At 2 p.m. on Feb. 15, an unknown person made changes to a complainant’s social networking site that was harassing and threatening.

Criminal mischief

At 9 p.m. on Feb. 16, it was reported that an unknown person(s) damaged a large garden ornament that was in front of a Merrick Road addresss. The ornament is valued at $600.

Burglary

Sometime between 1:45 p.m. on Feb. 17, and 3:25 a.m. on Feb. 18, an unknown person(s) broke the front glass door of Danny’s Bagels, located at 8 Ocean Avenue. They entered the store and took $200. The value of the door is $450.
