Arrests

On Sept. 3 at 1:50 a.m. a 26-year-old man of Hempstead, was arrested and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation, unlicensed operation, speeding, equipment violation and aggravated unlicensed operation (warrant) on Sunrise Highway in Lynbrook.

At 6:56 a.m. on Sept. 3, a 31-year-old man of Lynbrook, was arrested and charged with aggravated harassment and stalking at Lynbrook Police Department Headquarters located at 1 Columbus Drive.

A 39-year-old Brooklyn man was arrested and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation and an equipment violation on Sunrise Highway in Lynbrook on Sept. 4 at 10:45 a.m.

On Sept. 4 at 3:04 p.m., a 48-year-old of Lindenhurst, was arrested and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation, unlicensed operation, no seat belt, equipment violation and aggravated unlicensed operation (warrant) on Sunrise Highway in Lynbrook.

At 6:20 p.m. on Sept. 4, A 27-year-old New Hyde Park man was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana on Broadway in Lynbrook.

A 29-year-old man of Kew Gardens, was arrested and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation (warrant) on Sunrise Highway in Lynbrook on Sept. 4 at 11:50 p.m.

On Sept. 5 at 6:30 p.m.,a 22-year-old Roosevelt man was arrested and charged with leaving the scene of an accident on Sunrise Highway in Lynbrook.

Criminal mischief
At 4:09 p.m. on Aug. 29, a complainant, the owner of Synergy Fitness located at 640 Merrick Road, Lynbrook, reported that four front windows were damaged with a BB gun. The windows are valued at $500each for a total of $2,000.

Petit larceny
On Aug. 30 at 5:35 p.m., a complainant reported that their Apple Mini-Mac computer was taken from their residence. The computer is valued at $400.

Lost property
At 1 p.m. on Sept. 1, a complainant reported that they lost their wallet in the vicinity of Dunkin Donuts, located at 355 Sunrise Hwy., Lynbrook. Their wallet contained their New York State driver’s license, Social Security card, assorted credit cards and $120 cash.

On Sept. 3 at 11 a.m., a complainant reported that their 26-inch bicycle was lost in the vicinity of 30 Doxsey Place, Lynbrook. The bicycle is valued at $100.

At 2:10 p.m. on Sept. 6, a complainant, the CEO of R.C. Service located at 43 Harriet Pl., Lynbrook, reported that they lost two New York State registration plates in the vicinity of 43 Harriet Pl.

Grand larceny
At 11:15 a.m. on Sept. 4, a complainant, a field supervisor for LIPA, reports that 2,500 feet of control cable was taken from the LIPA substation located at the corner of Hendrickson Avenue and Whitehall Street in Lynbrook. The cable is valued at $12,500. The cable was taken between Aug. 4 and Sept. 4.
