Fair Driver injured in Lynbrook collision with tractor-trailer

A woman was taken to South Nassau Communities Hospital in Oceanside after the car she was driving collided with a parked FedEx tractor-trailer on Endview Avenue in Lynbrook on April 18 at around 6 p.m.
According to a Lynbrook police department spokesman, the 49-year-old woman was traveling eastbound on Sunrise Highway when her car ran up on the south curb, sideswiped a light pole, struck a wooden bench and bulletin board, and hit the truck. The Lynbrook Fire Department Extraction Team was at the scene. Police said the woman appeared to have suffered a medical emergency and may have lost consciousness. Her condition was unknown.
