Endorses Gaylor for judge

To the Editor:
As a member of the New Vision Party of Lynbrook, it is my distinct pleasure and honor to endorse William Gaylor, Esq., the current associate justice of the Incorporated Village of Lynbrook, for the position of district court judge.
Bill’s long career includes his service to our country as a U.S. Army colonel, as well as serving as Justice of the Lynbrook Village Court. He is a highly respected attorney, and his extensive knowledge of the law is widely known throughout the county. His election as judge would greatly benefit Nassau and its residents. I, and the New Vision Party, give Bill Gaylor our full support in the upcoming election.

William J. Hendrick, Lynbrook

Many thanks for successful car show

To the Editor:
The East Rockaway car show ended for the summer on Aug. 25.
I want to thank the village board and Mayor Fran Lenahan, DPW Supervisor Kevin Conklin and his staff, and the East Rockaway Chamber of Commerce for giving me the opportunity to host another successful summer of showing cars.
It was an eventful season, culminating with a fundraiser for the East Rockaway Kiwanis camp program, where we raised more than $ 2,500.
Thank you to Reel for supplying waitress service to the car owners. I also want thank the Southside Boys Car Club, the Centurion Cruisers Car Club and all individual car owners for participating. Ken (Kojak) Rappaport also did a great job with supplying the music.
Special thanks to Collision Depot for its sponsorship every week; to my good friend, Mike, for all of his help, and to Dale Arnold for making the great banner that hung on the fence.
I appreciate my cousin John Pastor for making the trip from Connecticut with his car three times, and to Jimmy, Joe and his group of half a dozen cars that came from Howard Beach every week.
I hope to see everyone on June 1 of next year!

Rich Cittadino, Car show coordinator
