Rogers said that the Chamber will host those events again this year, and members look forward to partnering with the village to add a Welcome Wagon program that would include an assortment of items that would show new residents “all that Lynbrook has to offer.” She added that the mayor’s golf outing is already planned for May, and details should be available soon. The organization will also participate in the village Patriot’s Day celebration on Memorial Day weekend, host a street fair in July and be a part of the Lynbrook Expo, held every October in Greis Park.

Guest speaker

Chamber Executive Vice President Linda Stephenson announced that at the next meeting on March 20, at noon, Nassau County District Attorney Kathleen Rice would be the guest speaker at P-12 in Lynbrook. More details about the event will be announced soon.

“We want to build our membership,” said Rogers. “And everyone will have a voice. We want to share ideas and help each other network. We want this to be the best year ever.”
